    The Cuno CFS8112 is a replacement cartridge that reduces the presence of sediments and the unpleasant taste & odor of chlorine. It purifies water with a 1-micron filtration capacity. It is designed for hot beverages and ice-making applications. The 8000 series does not require activation, reducing the overall installation time. The CFS8110-S is a point-of-change type of filter cartridge, used where the water is used. It has an integrated scale inhibition system that protects kitchen appliances and plumbing connections from the nuisance of scaling. The capacity is 10,000 gallons. It has a Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) design that helps in easier installation and a quick change of cartridges. The flow rate is 1.5 gpm (5.7 lpm). The cartridge is made of FDA CFR-21 compliant and/or NSF certified materials.
